Maniago is 20 km away from Pordenone and 49 km from Udine. It lies between two valleys, Valcellina and Val Colvera and at the foot of Monte Jôuf, Monte Fara and Monte San Lorenzo. The municipality consists of 3 hamlets: Campagna, Fratta and a few kilometers away Dandolo. Maniago is divided into different neighbourhoods/locations: Centro, Maniagolibero, Maniago di Mezzo, Sud Ferrovia. The inhabitants are called “maniaghesi”.

What to do in Maniago
- Trekking
Among beautiful trails, you can, for example, reach the Malga “Jauf” through the cai trail no 983, on the eastern side of Mount Jôuf. Here you can take a little break, there is no equipment available inside, the ground floor has a hood on one side and a fogolar on the other.
For small walks you can reach the ruins of the old Castle of Maniago and then continue and arrive in Val Piccola, where there is also a picnic area. - Bike

How to get to Maniago
From the A4 motorway take the Portogruaro exit and then exit again and arrive in Pordenone. From here, take Highway 251 to Maniago. From Udine you reach Maniago via highway 464.
Buses
Departures from the Pordenone Bus Station adjacent to the central train station, take buses heading Maniago. Or from Spilimbergo, take bus to Maniago, which is terminus at the bus station, adjacent to the train station.
Train
At the train station in Sacile take the regional train that leads to Maniago station. Sacile-Gemona line. Possibility of bicycle transport.
